OUR COMMITMENT TO SUSTAINABILITY
Mission: OPR S.p.A. has decided to commit itself to improving the positive social, economic, and environmental impacts of the events in which it is involved in the design and supply of fittings, while reducing negative impacts as much as possible.
The principles and values on which OPR bases its Policy, its objectives, and operating methods are:
• ethical management of resources
• inclusiveness
• integrity
• transparency
With this in mind, OPR S.p.A. is committed to pursuing the following benefits in its activities:
• Ensuring compliance with human rights and current environmental, safety, and labor regulations
• Raising stakeholder awareness of sustainability issues
• Reducing resource consumption and waste production
• Promoting the local economy
Each installation will be designed with sustainable and ethical management of environmental, social, and economic resources in mind. Suppliers will also be chosen based on their adherence to our sustainability principles. All stakeholders will be involved in accordance with the principles of integrity, treating all interested parties in an open, honest, and fair manner, rejecting any form of labor exploitation (child or forced labor) and promoting inclusiveness through the use of active engagement tools and opinion gathering methods such as surveys and questionnaires, as well as face-to-face meetings. Through responsible management and in accordance with the fundamental principle of transparency, OPR aims to conduct its business with honesty, good faith, and without fraud or deception. Every service is budgeted, measured, analyzed, and reported on in order to continuously improve and provide all stakeholders with evidence of the application of a virtuous Management System based on the following principles of sustainable development.
Environmental Sustainability
OPR S.p.A. analyzes and manages the environmental factors associated with the design and construction of each installation, applying a risk-based approach.
The aspects that are considered relate to the reduction of pollutant emissions and waste and the protection of the existing environment. In particular:
• the design and choice of reusable and recyclable materials and solutions
• the choice of suppliers who favor the use of recyclable and renewable raw materials and who demonstrate attention to organizational choices aimed at reducing consumption and waste
• the effective organization of transport (of materials and people)
• the appropriate disposal of all types of waste produced.
Social Sustainability
For the design and supply of fittings, OPR S.p.A. undertakes to consider and manage social aspects in accordance with its values and a risk-based approach, such as:
• respect for human rights and, in particular, the rejection of any form of labor exploitation (child or forced labor);
• responding to the needs and expectations of all stakeholders;
• inclusiveness and the absence of gaps between workers with the same qualifications and skills;
• maintaining high health and safety conditions for workers, customers, and participants;
• attention to accessibility for people with disabilities;
• raising awareness among suppliers about our sustainability principles.
Economic Sustainability
OPR S.p.A. designs and builds every installation with the awareness that economic and material resources are the driving force behind every activity. For this reason, through the application of a management system in accordance with ISO 20121:2024, it is committed to finding consistent solutions that balance costs and minimize risks, and to directing organizational choices towards services and technologies with reduced environmental impact and work organization methods that allow for a reduction in consumption and, consequently, costs.
OUR POLICY
The OPR Company, through the commitment of its management and in accordance with its Declaration of Intent and Values, supports the fundamental objectives of improving the quality of the products and services provided to customers and the sustainable development of the events to which it contributes.
This goal is shared by all members of the organization.
Constant attention to the needs of stakeholders and an international promotional strategy form the basis of our corporate mission, which guides the planning and implementation of our exhibition stands. Our goal is to create a “product” that is consistent with the image and “communication style” adopted by the client, while also contributing to the sustainability (economic, social, and environmental) of the event for which it is created.
The following strategic objectives have been identified:
- monitoring customer satisfaction with the “product” and the technical and commercial service provided;
- continuous monitoring of the efficiency and effectiveness of product engineering and manufacturing processes;
- constant attention to monitoring the capabilities and reliability of assembly service providers;
- increasing market penetration in the reference market
- respect for human rights and current regulations on the environment, health, safety, and work
- raising stakeholder awareness on the issue of environmental, economic, and social sustainability
- reducing consumption and waste production
The actions for achieving and monitoring these objectives are outlined in the “Improvement Action Plan” document and in any other strategic planning documents.
In order to pursue the above objectives, it proposes to:
- implement, using appropriate survey tools, periodic monitoring of the quality perceived by customers and the sustainability perceived by the various stakeholders, with the aim of identifying needs, suggestions, and the “value” of the product/service offered.
- Ensure, through internal inspections and appropriate management control tools, the monitoring of the effectiveness and efficiency of the design and production processes.
- Appropriate statistical indicators on the efficiency and effectiveness of processes are a tool for identifying improvement actions.
- Launch a communication policy with suppliers regarding the quality and completeness of the product during assembly.
- Increase presence at trade fairs with targeted commercial activities aimed at promoting the company’s know-how and capabilities in the design and construction of exhibition stands.
- Maintain due attention in the periodic verification of the reference context and risk assessment, including as regards the processes implemented.
- Evaluate and report on the results and lessons learned and, where appropriate, on the broader outcomes, impact, and legacy of events.
- The Quality and Sustainability Management System for events is the tool for pursuing the above objectives.
